Why Adopt?

Pets can give us some of the best love and companionship and enrich our lives in so many ways. And while there are many ways to find your next dog or cat, we think adoption is a great choice! Some reasons why adopting your pet is the way to go include:

  • Be a true lifesaver

When you adopt and bring home a pet from a shelter, you’re giving love and hope to an animal. Soon, your pet will be thriving, all thanks to your care.

  • Find the perfect match

Many shelters have pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. The staff is happy to work with you to find the animal that will fit your family best.

  • Save money

Not only can you find a loving pet who will become a part of your family, but you’ll save a lot of money versus seeking out a breeder or a pet shop.

  • We're here for you

Whether you’re a first-time pet owner or you’ve always had an animal companion, we offer resources to ensure you feel supported in your pet journey.

Our Adoption Process

You can walk in during our open hours to see all the furry friends waiting for their forever homes. Or, browse our gallery online, choose the pets you’re interested in, and let us know if you have any questions. We have many sweet friends—the hard part will be choosing!

If you have not filled out an application recently, please complete our pre-adoption application. We want to ensure each dog and cat finds the perfect home, so we check the references you provide. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about filling out the application.

You’ll get a chance to get to know our pets in person and see if you get along. You can interact with our pets and get to know their personalities better. You can pet and play and talk to our staff. Looking for a playful pal or a cuddly companion? We’ll help you narrow down your choices.

If you connect with one of our animals, we’ll help you finalize the adoption and schedule your pickup. We’ll also go over any fees and answer any remaining questions you have. Our goal is to help you make the perfect match.
